Spanish Epiphany Celebration | January 2027

Christ the King Catholic Church 

Music for Epiphany from ONS CD ‘Madrid 1752’, recreating a courtly Grand Service of Epiphany, with its Responses, Choruses and the spritely villancicos of Padre Antonio Soler and South American composers. In collaboration with Dallas’s Inspirata Chorale.

El Tango Portrait of a Blind Poet | March 20, 2027

Moody Performance Hall 

Immersive tango performance: A Tribute to Jorge Luis Borges, telling the history of the great poet with Austin’s Atlas Tango Project and Denver’s Parasol Arts alongside local Tango artists.

The orchestra gets its name from the present area of Texas and Mexico which was originally called New Spain by the Spanish explorers. We present music from 'Old' Spain in the land of New Spain.
